Build an AEO Pipeline to Appear in Perplexity AI

To appear in Perplexity AI, your website needs pages that directly answer specific questions asked by users. These pages must have structured data, quotable first sentences, and be submitted for fast indexing.

Syntora specializes in developing custom Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) systems. We leverage Claude API for multi-step content generation and quality validation, ensuring your website appears prominently in AI search results. Our approach focuses on building bespoke solutions that integrate seamlessly with your operations.

This is not traditional SEO. Appearing in AI answers requires a system that can find user questions, generate highly specific answers, and format them for machine readability at scale. A single well-structured page is a good start, but a pipeline is needed for consistent visibility.

Syntora has experience building AEO page generation systems with quality validation, leveraging the Claude API for multi-step workflows, structured output parsing, and context window management. The scope of a bespoke AEO solution depends on your target audience, content volume requirements, and existing technical infrastructure.

The Problem

What Problem Does This Solve?

Most companies rely on traditional SEO, focusing on domain authority and backlinks to rank on Google. Perplexity's engine prioritizes content structure and answer directness over domain-level metrics. Your 3,000-word blog post on the future of marketing will not be cited for the question 'what is the best tool for marketing attribution' because the answer is buried in narrative paragraphs.

Attempting to create these answer-focused pages manually is too slow. A content team might produce 10 targeted pages a month, while an automated system can cover thousands of long-tail questions. At this rate, a manual approach cannot achieve the topic coverage required to gain significant visibility in AI search engines. It is a problem of scale that human writers cannot solve alone.

Using simple AI writing tools also fails. These platforms generate text but do not provide the necessary infrastructure for AEO. They lack automated question mining, quality validation against web search results, injection of Schema.org structured data, and instant indexing submission. The result is generic content that AI engines cannot easily parse or trust as a citable source.

Our Approach

How Would Syntora Approach This?

Syntora would begin by working with your team to identify optimal question sources, such as Reddit's API via Python with the PRAW library, Google's 'People Also Ask' results, and industry-specific forums. Raw questions would be stored in a Supabase Postgres table. We would then implement semantic deduplication using a Gemini embeddings model and pgvector to refine the initial dataset, ensuring focus on truly unique user queries.

Page generation would be orchestrated through a robust workflow, potentially leveraging GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD pipelines. Our approach utilizes the Claude API for generating full, answer-optimized pages, drawing on our experience with structured output parsing and context window management. Each generated draft would pass through a multi-step quality assurance pipeline. This pipeline would involve calls to the Gemini API for relevance scoring and the Brave Search API to detect content uniqueness. We would define and integrate custom quality thresholds based on your brand guidelines to ensure each page meets desired standards before publication, a key part of the quality validation we employ.

For deployment, Syntora would integrate with your existing content delivery system, or propose solutions like Vercel with Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR) for efficient, near-instant publishing. Immediately post-publication, we would configure automated submission to indexing APIs such as IndexNow, facilitating rapid discoverability by search engines and AI models.

To ensure continuous improvement and track impact, Syntora would design and implement a bespoke performance monitoring system. This system would involve a scheduled Python job querying various AI search engines, including Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude, for your target keywords. It would track brand mentions and URL citations, logging data to Supabase and presenting citation growth and overall Share of Voice within a customized dashboard, providing actionable insights for your team.

Why It Matters

Key Benefits

01

Your First Citation in Days, Not Months

Our pipeline generates and publishes pages daily. With IndexNow submission, you can see your first URL cited in Perplexity or Brave search within 72 hours of launch.

02

Generate 2,000 Pages, Cost of 2 Blog Posts

Our generation cost, driven by Claude and Gemini API calls, is under $0.50 per page. You get massive topic coverage for a fraction of the cost of manual content.

03

You Get the Keys to the Content Factory

We deliver the entire Python codebase in your private GitHub repository. You own the question mining scripts, the generation pipeline, and the monitoring dashboard. No vendor lock-in.

04

Automated QA Catches Bad Content Before It Ships

Every page is scored for relevance, uniqueness, and filler content before it goes live. This automated QA system, built with Gemini and Brave Search APIs, ensures quality.

05

A Headless System That Publishes Anywhere

The system publishes to Vercel by default but is built headless. The final content is clean JSON that can be pushed to your existing Webflow, WordPress, or custom-built site.

How We Deliver

The Process

01

Question Mining Setup (Week 1)

You provide target topics and competitor domains. We build and run the mining scripts, delivering a Supabase table with thousands of validated and deduplicated questions.

02

Generation Pipeline Build (Week 2)

We construct the Claude API and Gemini API prompt chains for page generation and QA. You receive the first 10 sample pages and their QA scorecards for review.

03

Deployment and Initial Run (Week 3)

We deploy the full pipeline on GitHub Actions and Vercel. We run the first batch of 100 pages, submit them to IndexNow, and deliver the live monitoring dashboard.

04

Monitoring and Handoff (Week 4)

We monitor citation growth and system health. You receive the full codebase, documentation, and a runbook detailing how to adjust topics or retune the QA models.
